DALI & DALI-2 LED Drivers
Digital Addressable Lighting Interface, abbreviated DALI, is an internationally recognized digital control protocol for lighting fixtures and electronic ballasts. DALI is a standardized manufacturer-independent system that covers most lighting applications and replaces a more expensive 1-to-10-volt technology. DALI LED drivers require less wiring and provide more flexibility in lighting installations. With the dimming curve adapted to the sensitivity of the human eye, DALI drivers offer a comfortable and smooth dimming process, from very low to maximum levels of brightness. DALI drivers can control each fixture individually as well as their groups. In lighting scene activation, for example, this feature can be used to switch numerous lights to their dedicated lighting levels and reach the end brightness value at the same time. Furthermore, DALI LED drivers enable two-way communication, providing status feedback from the connected LEDs and ballasts, like actual brightness values and fixture malfunction.
