The IOTA ISL54 is a slim-profile, high-efficiency emergency ballast designed for linear fluorescent and compatible LED retrofit fixtures. Engineered for T5, T6, T8, and long compact fluorescent lamps, it delivers up to 825 lumens of emergency illumination for 90 minutes, providing reliable backup lighting in commercial, institutional, and architectural applications. Its narrow 1.18-inch galvanized steel housing makes it ideal for compact fixtures or limited ballast spaces, while dual 120/277VAC input ensures broad voltage compatibility.

The ISL54 includes a sealed Ni-Cad battery with 24-hour recharge and 7–10 year life expectancy for dependable long-term performance. Integrated AC output allows compatibility with LED retrofit tubes and amalgam lamps, while features such as Open Circuit Isolation and time delay protect the system and maximize lamp life. A built-in test switch with LED charging indicator simplifies maintenance and code compliance, and the unit is UL and CUL listed, RoHS compliant, and rated for plenum, damp, and enclosed fixture installations.
