The IOTA I32 Emergency Ballast is a UL Listed, reduced-profile solution designed to provide reliable emergency lighting for one 2–4 ft. fluorescent lamp, including T8, T12, T9, or 28W T5 types. Delivering up to 500 lumens for 90 minutes during power loss, this ballast is ideal for tight ballast compartments, enclosed fixtures, and plenum applications. Its low-profile galvanized steel case ensures easy integration into compact spaces while maintaining safety and durability, making it a dependable choice for commercial, institutional, and industrial lighting systems.
Engineered for energy efficiency and long-term reliability, the I32 features a dual-voltage input (120/277V, 60Hz) and a recyclable Ni-Cad battery with a 24-hour recharge time and a 7–10 year expected life. Built-in protection features, including open-circuit isolation and compatibility with switched or unswitched fixtures, ensure safe operation under a variety of conditions.
